Le client à hérité d’une maison des années 50 largement remaniée au cours des années. Il  désirait créer un sous sol, agrandir la maison et créer une terrasse pour bénéficier de la vue sur la baie d’alger.
Le projet propose d’imaginer une nouvelle façade sur deux niveaux à 3 m de celle existante, agrandissant ainsi le séjour vers le nord et créant une double hauteur. Une terrasse dans la continuité du séjour couvre l’extension du Rez de chaussée, et se prolonge sur une piscine adossée à un mur de pierres. De grande jardinières de plantes  hautes et de plantes grasses bordent la piscine afin de protéger la maison des bâtisses avoisinantes.

The client inherited a house built in the 1950s that had been extensively remodeled over the years. He wanted to create a basement, enlarge the house, and create a terrace to take advantage of the view on the Bay of Algiers.

This project proposes to imagine a new façade on two levels, three meters from the existing one, thus enlarging the living room facing north and creating a ceiling that is two stories high. A terrace, as a continuation of the living room, covers the expansion of the ground floor and extends to the swimming pool, which backs against a stone wall. Large flower pots with tall plants and succulents border the swimming pool, in order to screen the house from adjacent buildings.
