Cette exposition s'inscrit dans le cadre du cycle d'expositions Young memories, un projet artistique d’Alexandra Roussopoulos, artiste peintre, qui nous a donné carte blanche pour le mois de mai 2016. Nous avons choisi de proposer une exposition sur le thème de l'architecture de terre et de faire découvrir le travail de l'artiste céramiste Jacques Kaufmann. Depuis 30 ans, Jacques Kaufmann explore la brique et la céramique, au travers notamment de grandes installations qu'il intitule "paysages céramiques". Il présentera pour cette occasion son œuvre Mur frisson, une grande installation que avons monté ensemble à partir de 2000 briques de terre compressée. Une vidéo du montage de l'installation a été réalisée pour l'occasion par Shahinda Lane, urbaniste

This exhibition is part of the Young Memories exhibition series, an artistic project of Alexandra Roussopoulos, a painter, who gave us carte blanche for the month of May 2016. We have chosen to propose an exhibition on the theme of earthen architecture and to showcase the work of the ceramic artist Jacques Kaufmann. For 30 years, Jacques Kaufmann has been exploring brick and ceramics, notably through large installations that he calls "ceramic landscapes". For this occasion, he will present his work Mur frisson, a large installation that was assembled together from 2000 compressed earth bricks.
